Thank you to New Zealand for three wonderful events: in Wellington, Auckland, and Christchurch; also an event for Forest and Bird of New Zealand, who have led the struggle to save native species from extinction. Their goal: predator-free by 2050! It can be done…
Upcoming: On July 10, Prison Performing Arts will premiere a play based on Hag-Seed: a play about a novel based on a play, that involves a play within the novel, based on the play … and PPA’s version will be performed in the Northeast Correctional Center in Bowling Green… after which it will move to a theatre where the public may view it. I will be there…
The paperback of The Testaments will launch in June, and I’ll be doing some events in the UK, in Canada, and in the USA in cities that were not part of the hardback tour. Events will be posted on this site as they are confirmed. At least this time we won’t have to worry about scammers stealing the MS and using it to filch readers’ financial information! That was scary.

I’m on the road, in Australia, doing some events with @FaneProductions. After that, Galway, Ireland. For upcoming schedules see Events.
Writing: In hotel rooms. Finishing an introduction to Graeme Gibson’s last two novels; completing edits on Dearly, a collection of poems that will appear on November 10, 2024. And a couple of other projects too strange to mention yet.
A lot has happened since my last posting, before the publication of The Testaments on September 10 and Graeme’s death on September 18… trying to catch up now. You can see the Memorial to Graeme by clicking on the button right below the pictures on the main page of this site.
